Funeral Director

Andrew Strish, Funeral Director, known lovingly as "Skip", was the son of the late Andrew and Lottie Strish, both Funeral Directors.  He was a graduate of West Side Central Catholic High School, attended Wilkes University and graduated from the MaCallister Institute of Funeral Services, NYC. He attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology and Anatomy and was a member of the local, state and national funeral directors associations, prior to his passing away March 26, 2014.

Patrick M. Lehman

President

Patrick Lehman was born in Wilkes-Barre, son of Anne Marie and the late Leo P. Lehman. He attended Dodson and St. Leo's Elementary Schools and is a Graduate of Hanover Area High School. During those years he enjoyed playing baseball, and was a member of the Civil Air Patrol.

He furthered his education at College Misericordia, where he received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Management and a minor in Marketing. To follow in his fathers, uncles and grandfathers footsteps, Patrick chose a career in Funeral Service. He enrolled in Simmons Institute of Mortuary Science, where he was appointed to the Deans List and served as President of his class. He is an active believer of continuing education and enjoys attending seminars as often as possible.

Pat met his wife, Jacqueline in 1990, married in 1993 and are the proud parents of Patrick Jr., MaryTheresa. They also have two Shih Tzu's named Maggie and Peanut and one Yellow Lab, Teddy.

Pat is grateful to have a large family. He has three brothers, Paul, Mark and James, two sisters, MaryJo and Molly, many nieces, nephews and in laws.

Mr. Lehman has been in funeral service for over 30 years. Pat is active in the community and is a member of many organizations.

He is also a member of many professional organizations such as the Funeral Ethics Organization, National Funeral Directors Association, Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association, Luzerne County Funeral Directors Association and the NFIB.

Pat enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, day trips to New York City, skiing, jet skiing and scenic bike rides.

Michael H. Galaida

Funeral Director/Supervisor

Michael Galaida, Funeral Director, has an Associate of Applied Science Degree from Northampton College and a Bachelor of Science Degree from New Haven University.  Mike lived in Hanover Township with his wife, Pat Galaida and is currently the Supervisor at Andrew Strish Funeral Home.

Jacqueline Koprowski Lehman

Office Administrator

Jackie was born in Boise, Idaho and is the daughter of the late Linda Trondson Koprowski; the late Robert D. Koprowski and Dorothy Adams Koprowski of West Nanticoke.  She moved to Luzerne at the age of 8, when her father was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force.  She was a graduate of Sacred Heart Elementary School, Luzerne and Bishop O'Reilly High School, Kingston.  She went on to attend Lackawanna School of Business and Luzerne County Community College. 

Jackie is the Office Administrator and assists families with Memorial Purchases.
