THOMAS J. FAVATA

Thomas Joseph Favata, 49, of Shavertown, passed away at home on Sunday, April 11, 2021.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of Joseph Favata and Constance Anne Kovaleski Favata of Falls and was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School.  Tom was employed as an Insurance Broker and loved spending time with family, especially his children, camping at Jellystone Park and other campgrounds. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs Football Fan and he enjoyed drag car racing and working on his car.  He was also interested in Weightlifting and won many trophies. Most of his adult life, he enjoyed playing golf with his father and brothers and enjoyed watching MMA Fighting.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Gabrielle Goodman Favata; sons, Thomas, Giovanni and Anthony Favata; siblings, Joseph and his wife Lisa of Berwick; Christine and her fiancee Charles Farnsworth, Jr of Pittston;  Kimberly of Shickshiny Valley; Eric and his wife, Kara of Wapwallopen; Michael of Swoyersville.  He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Kimberly and Louis Dominick, Eric and Colesen Favata, Joseph and Abby Favata and many friends.

A Private Family Service will be held from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson Street, Larksville.
