THOMAS V. CHEWEY

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Thomas V. Chewey, of Larksville on Tuesday, October 31st 2023 in the VA Medical Center.

Born in Kingston, he was the son of the late Andrew Michael Chewey Jr and Frances Grevera Chewey. Tom worked as a general contractor and served his country proudly in the United States Navy. He enjoyed spending time with his family, roller skating, playing pool, and singing, especially karaoke. By far, his proudest titles were "son" and "father".

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Andrew Michael Chewey III.

He will be forever missed by his daughter, Brandy (Adam Deyo Sr) Chewey of Larksville; grandchildren, Adam Jr, Alex, Austin, Aaron; sisters, Terry and Cheri; and many nieces and nephews.

..I love you more today, than yesterday, but not half as much as tomorrow..

Blessing service will be conducted on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 3:00 from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson Street, Larksville, with Military Honors.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until time of service.
