Robert and Carol Hall, of Kingston, died in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Robert J. Hall, Jr., son of the late Robert and Ruth Davis Hall, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. His beloved wife, Carol Hall, daughter of the late Goodwin Young and Ruth Goss Troy, passed a few days later, Sunday, December 20, 2020.
Bob attended Meyers High School and left high school to serve his country proudly in the United States Army, in Germany. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing and was a life member of the Whitetail Unlimited; member of the State Police Association; active with the South Mountain Land Association and Trout unlimited Club and a proud member of the NRA. He was employed as a production supervisor for Muskin Pool and drove for Brinks and GE Medical Supply Co.
Carol was a graduate of Northwest High School; was a Financial Administrative Assistant for Clearbrook.
Both were very active members of Cross Creek Community Church, Shavertown and were avid NY Yankee Fans.
Robert and Carol were the loving parents to daughters, Cabyn and her husband, Jeffrey of Punxsutawney; Sheila Hall-Dierks and her husband, Brian of Kempton; adoring grandparents and great grandparents to Christoper Reed; Jessica Kotula and her husband, Tom; Whitney Reed; Lindsey Fonseca and her husband, Federico; Ruby Grose; Lennon Reed; Amelia Fonseca. Robert and Carol are also survived by siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins. Both Carol and Bob loved spending time with family and friends.
Funeral service, with Military Honors for Robert, will be conducted on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, from the Cross Creek Community Church, 370 Carverton Road, Shavertown, at 11:00 am with Pastor Dave Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Hill Cemetery, Fairmount Township.
Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation from 9:00 am until time of service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cross Creek Community Church, Shavertown.
