RICHARD ALLEN, SR. Obituary

Richard L. Allen Sr., of Dallas, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 in The Meadows Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Plymouth, he was the son of the late William and Mildred Stubblevine Allen. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marines. Richard worked as a truck driver; enjoyed playing golf and watching baseball and football.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by wife Dorothy Marie Allen; daughter Beverly Torok; son in law Thomas Torok; brothers Gene, Bob, Tuck, Bruce Allen and sister June Allen.

Left to cherish his memory is his son Richard L. Allen Jr.; daughter Marilyn Vrabel and her husband Robert; daughter in law Rebecca Allen; three grandchildren Christopher Allen, Angelena Allen, Gabriel Allen; brother David Allen; step brother Matt Sims; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Interment will be in the Diocese of Metuchen Cemetery, NJ.

Arrangements under the direction of the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson St. Larksville.
