PATRICIA H. KEHLER

Patricia Kehler, 76, of Larksville passed away at Commonwealth Health Care on June 17, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Robert Kehler.

Born September 26, 1945, to the late Thomas and Edna Reese, she was a resident of Larksville her entire life. She was preceded in death by brother Edmund (Dave) Reese, sisters Lucille Krzywicki, and Shirley Kowalski.

She was employed for decades by Atwater Throwing Company, USA Manufacturing, and Kingston Rehab and Nursing Center until she retired. Pat had great talent for ceramics, crocheting, cooking, and baking. She never made a dessert that wasn’t promptly devoured by family. She enjoyed family camping trips to the beach and was a master of both red and white clam chowder. She loved gardening and preparing/hosting holiday dinners.

She is survived by her husband Robert Kehler; her sister, Ruth Bauer; children: Richard Piccarreta, Robert Piccarreta, Concetta Jankoviak, and Brian Piccarreta; Grandchildren: Robert T. Piccarreta and Caitlyn Cunningham; Great grandchildren: Hayden, Lilliana, Ilithyia, Jaxson, Benltey, and Ryleigh. Along with nieces and nephews. Her grandchildren were the light of her life.

Pat was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was instrumental in the caretaking of all. She will be greatly missed and always loved. Godspeed to the comfort, peace, and promise of life everlasting.

The family would also like to thank the doctors and nursing staff of Wilkes Barre General Hospital for their care and compassion during her illness.

Funeral service will be on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 2:30 at the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson Street, Larksville, with Reverend Gerry Gurka officiating.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until time of service.
