MATTHEW A. CHURCH

Matthew A. Church, 25, of Edwardsville, passed away, November 20, 2020, as the result of an accident.

Born in The Dalles, Oregon, he was the son of Ken Allen and Jenifer Rae Ward Church of Arizona and was a graduate of West Side Vocational Technical School, Class of 2014. He served his country proudly in the United States Army Reserves and was the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal and the Army Service Ribbon.  Matthew worked as a Diesel Mechanic and loved spending time with his family, especially his one year old daughter, Harper, who he adored.  He enjoyed traveling; snowboarding, hikes, listening to Rock Music and loved riding motorcycles.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, Sara Kashnicki Church; daughter, Harper Church; sister, Shyann Church of Swoyersville; grandparents Monta & Ron Shuyler; Vern and Virginia Church; nephew, Carson and many friends.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 6:00 pm from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson Street. Larksville.

Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation from 4:00 pm until time of service.
