MARY BETH CLEARY

Mary Beth Cleary, 73, of Edwardsville, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Larksville, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Kathleen Cunningham Perlis. She belonged to the First Assembly of God in Wilkes-Barre, where she was very devoted and was a Sunday School teacher. Mary Beth worked as a home health aide and loved spending time with family.

In addition to her parents, she was precede by brothers: Thomas, Joseph and Peter Perlis.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Joseph Vincent Cleary, Sr.; son: Joseph Cleary, Jr.; daughters: Renee Frankowski, Kathleen Reichart, Angela Lefkoski; grandchildren: Sarah Deyo, Jessica Cleary, Rico and Marissa Colon, David and Kimberly Sorbelli, John Michael Rose, Hailey and Breanna Gyle, Gianna, Nickol and Miley Lefkoski and Dominic Grzezdzinski.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at the First Assembly of God Church, 424 Stanton Street, Wilkes-Barre at 10 am.

Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation on Friday, March 19, 2021, from 4 to 6 pm at the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson Street, Larksville and again Saturday morning, from 9:30 until time of service at the church.

The family would like to Thank Mary Beth's long time Physician, Dr. Olshemski, his care team and the First Assembly of God Church for their physical and spiritual care.
