MARY ANN WRIGHT

Mary Ann Wright, of Luzerne, passed away at home, with family by her side on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2021.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Celia Krouse Zyck and following graduation worked as a nurses aide and activities assistance at local Nursing Homes. She enjoyed to crocheting and spending time with family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Wright; brother, Stanley Zyck and sister, Margaret Dutzar.

She is survived by her children, James Wright and his wife, Stacey of Nanticoke; Janet Capps and her husband, Jeffrey of Nanticoke; Sandy Fahey of Plains; Marianne Butcher and her husband, Jeffrey of Swoyersville; several grandchildren, sister, Donna McDaniels and her husband, Jerry of Plymouth, nieces and nephews.

Blessing service will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at 1:00 pm from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson Street, Larksville with Reverend Tressler officiating. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery, Pringle.

Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation, from 11:30 am until time of service.
