LOUIS M. SIMS

Louis M. Sims, 81, of Plymouth, died on Friday, February 5, 2021, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.

Born in Larksville, he was the son of the late Stephen and Mary McElwee Sims and following graduation, served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.  He enjoyed spending time with family and an occasional trip to the Casino.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by 7 brothers, Elmer, Francis, Bob, John, George, Herbert, Joseph Sims; sister in laws and nephew, Gary Park.

Louis is survived by sister-in-laws and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at 10:00 am from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson Street, Larksville with Military Honors following in Maple Grove Cemetery, Sweet Valley.

Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation from 9:00 am on Wednesday until time of service.
