Linda J. Colianni, 68, formerly of Larksville, passed away peacefully Monday, Oct. 16, 2023 at Geisinger CMC in Scranton.
Born May 26, 1955, in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Almon J. Long and Cora (Rehn) Long. Linda was a graduate of Irvington High School, Class of 1973; received an Associates Degree from Luzerne County Community College and was a member of St. Ignatius Church, Kingston. In past years, she was employed by Leslie Faye, Sears Holdings, Sallie Mae and most recently Genpact. She loved shopping trips with her “Clampett” family and traveling. Her favorite form of travel being cruising and was known for her love of Flamingos and leopard print.
Surviving are her son Vincent and his wife Lauren Colianni; her Grandson Logan Colianni; her sister Lori (Richard) Schmidt of Wapwallopen, her brother Allan (Donna) Long of Ashley, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many cousins. She is also survived by her dearest friends Sharon and Joseph Feistl.
The family would like to thank all the Doctors, Specialists and the Nurses at Geisinger CMC for their exceptional and compassionate care that they provided to Linda.
Family and Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 on Saturday October 21, 2023 at St. Ignatius Church, Maple Ave., Kingston. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery Wilkes Barre.
Family and Friends may call from 5 pm until 7 pm on Friday October 20th at Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson St., Larksville and 9:00 am until time of service.
