JOHN P. MILES

John Paul Miles, Jr. 68, of Kingston, died at home on Monday, January 17, 2022.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late John P. and Elizabeth Swainbank Miles, Sr. and served his country in the United States Navy and was the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal. John enjoyed spending time with family and riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He was an avid Minnisota Vikings and Nascar Fan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Donnelly Miles and siblings, Thomas Miles, Robert Miles and Beverly Swartz.

He is survived by his children, Christine Fritz and her husband, Chris of Kingston; Dan Donnelly and his wife, Candice of Hughesville; Michael Donnelly of Wilkes-Barre; grandchildren, Michaela, Courtney and Jeff; siblings, James Miles of Bloomsburg, William Miles of AZ; Mary Kingston of Courtdale; Janelle Lengel of Pringle and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022, at 10:00 am from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson Street, Larksville with interment following in Fern Knoll Burial Park, Dallas.

Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 4 to 6:00 pm and Friday morning, from 9:30 am until time of service.
