JOHN CIMAKASKY
Obituary
John B. Cimakasky Jr., “JB” of Edwardsville, passed away on Tuesday August 15, 2023, while being cared for at Third Ave, Health Care Center, Kingston.
Born in Duryea, he was the son of the late John Sr., and Helyn Cimakasky. He attended both East Stroudsburg University as well Kings College, and was retired from the Pennsylvania American Water Company since 2008. He was a high school athlete that enjoyed watching sports and spending time at the American Legion in his retirement.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Sandra Kochell, and Marie Marino.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of fifty eight years, Patricia; sons Richard and Wife (Maria) of Furlong, Pennsylvania, Christopher of Shavertown; and two grandsons, Luke and Kade of Furlong.
A blessing service will be conducted on Friday, September 15, 2023 at 11:00 am in St. Peter and Paul Cemetery Chapel, 1019 Spring Street, Moosic. Arrangements being coordinated at the direction of the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson Street, Larksville.
