JOAN KRZANOWSKI

Joan Krzanowski, of Wilkes-Barre, formerly of Carverton, died Thursday morning, December 17, 2020.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Helen Moyer Reese and was a graduate of Coughlin High School, Class of 1950. Joan worked for Acme Metal Products and later owned and operated Carverton Monument Co. for several years alongside her husband and son. She was very active with Mt. Grange 567 and Carverton Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Stanley Krzanowski, Sr.; brothers, Elmer, George and Paul Reese.

She is survived by her children, Stanley Krzanowski Jr. of Edwardsville; Stephen J. (Christine) Krzanowski of Centermoreland; Joanne (Joel) Ward of Williamstown; 4 grandchildren, Justin Krzanowski, Andrew, Stephen and Joseph Mihalick; 8 great grandsons, Liam, Rhys, Wiatt, Jacoby, Parker, Landon, Noah and Kade; nieces and nephews.

Private Family Funeral service will be conducted on Monday, December 21, 2020, from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson Street, Larksville, with Reverend Michelle Kaufman officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Harding.
