Obituary
Jean G. Carey, of Larksville, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, suddenly.
Born in Larksville, she was the daughter of the late John and Bessie Smith Krzywicki and was a seamstress. She enjoyed spending time with family and sewing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving daughter, Linda Marchakitis.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, Frank H. Carey, Sr. children, Fay Downes of Lake Silkworth, Joyce (Scott) Shultz of Shickshinny Lake, Billie (Brent) Thomas of Wilmington, DE, Frank (Jennifer) Carey Jr. of Larksville; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Charles Krzwicki. of Toms River, nJ and Martin Krzwicki of Gainsville, FL.
Private family interment will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, Larksville.
