JEAN MARIE ANGLEY

Jean Marie Angley, of Courtdale, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 surrounded by her loving daughters.

Born in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Hazel Searfoss Davis and was a member of St. Ignatius Church.  Jean enjoyed spending time with family, yard saleing, reading and cooking.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Angley, 11 siblings, Alvin, George, Lenton, Cleon "Bill" and Richard Davis, Rachel MacAdara, Freda Hoffman, Addy Keefe, Lucy Dietz and an infant brother and sister.

Jean is survived by her children, James (Anne) Angley of Kunkletown; William (Jeanne) Angley of Leesburg, VA; Colleen (Kenneth) Winkler of Courtdale; Diane Bednar of Forty Fort; Michael (Evelyn) Angley of Colorado Springs; 16 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Molly Hoover of Middelsex, NJ and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted on Monday, February 7, 2022 at 9:45 am from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson Street, Larksville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:15 am in St. Ignatius Church, Pringle.  

Friends are welcome to join the family for a visitation on Sunday from 4 to 6 pm and Monday from 9:15 until time of service at the funeral home.

Family would like to thank the staff at Kingston Manor for the wonderful care of their mother especially during her final days.
