Jane I. Stoshak, 93, of Dallas, formerly of Sugar Notch, died on Friday, February 12, 2021, in the Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dallas.
Born in Wilkes-Barre Township, she was the daughter to the late John and Eva Borowski Zielinski; worked as a seamstress; enjoyed dancing, especially Polkas and watching an occasional Philadelphia Phillies Baseball Game. She loved traveling and mostly spending time with the family. She was a former member of St. Charles Borromeo Church and Holy Family Church, both of Sugar Notch.
In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded by her loving husband, Andrew Stoshak; brothers, Stanley, John, Joseph, Eugene, Chester and Edward Zielinski and sisters, Mary Shepanski and Alice Zyskowski.
She is survived by Julianne (Bernard) Wolfe of Mountaintop; Deacon Andrew (Nancy) Stoshak of Myrtle Beach, SC; Ronald (Stella) Stoshak of Mount Laurel, NJ; Evelyn Cook of Myrtle Beach, SC; John Stoshak of Dallas; Joseph (Brian VanFeet) )Stoshak of Washington, DC; Mary Jane (OBM Richard Frey) Frey of Wilkes-Barre Township; James (Terrie) Stoshak of Apex, NC; Steven (Cathy) Stoshak of Wyalusing; Susan (Patrick) Dooley of Avalon, NJ; 16 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; brother, Walter Zielinski of Iselin, NJ and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 19, 2021, at 10:00 am from Our Lady of Hope Church, Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre with Reverend Terry officiating.
Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation from 9:00 am until time of Mass at the Church.
