GARY R. PARK SR.

Gary Robert Park, Sr., 50, of Larksville died Thursday, March 19 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of Francis Park, Sr. of Sweet Valley and the late Sarah Sims Muller. He was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School, Class of 1987 and LCCC in Nanticoke. He was employed as a Regional maintenance manager for R.P. Management Property Company. Gary was an avid hunter and loved spending time with his grandson, Colton John Park.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Stephen Trzcinski.

In addition to his father, Gary is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Shirley Shoemaker Park; children: Alysha Soppeck and her husband George, III, Kingston; Gary R. Park, Jr, Larksville; grandson, Colton Park of Shickshinny; paternal grandmother, Anna Mae Park; siblings: Paula Muller of Larksville and her fiancée, Mike Kizis; Paul Muller and wife Danielle of Plymouth; Frank Park, Jr. and his wife, Susan of Georgia; Randy Park and wife, Allison of Nanticoke; Joseph Park and his wife, Brenda of Carbondale; Michael Park and his wife, Heather of Nanticoke; Angel Sutton of Nanticoke; his step-father Stephen Trzcinski of Larksville, nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts.

Private Funeral service for family will be held on Tuesday, from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson Street, Larksville.

Graveside funeral service will follow in St Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
