EDWARD MARCY SR. Obituary

Edward G. Marcy, Sr. 65, of Luzerne, died on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 in Allied Hospice Meade Street, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Pringle, he was the son of the late Harold and Margaret Marcy and was a graduate of West Side Vocational Technical School, Pringle. He worked as cook for many restaurants, including family-owned Mr. K's, Overbrook, Piledggis and for the Geisinger Hospital for 32 years. Ed was a lover of all animals, but his favorite were his cats, MJ, Danger and Chaos. He enjoyed being outdoors, hiking, walking trails and gardening.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Mark and Michael Marcy.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Colleen J. Kotulski Marcy; son Edward Marcy Jr. of Swoyersville; daughter Cristin Joan Marcy Arnold and her husband, David of Cherry Hill, NJ; two grandchildren Zoey Joan Arnold and Logan Jax Arnold; siblings Harold Marcy and his wife, Karen of Pringle and Joseph Marcy of Pringle; father-in-law Stanley Kotulski of Luzerne; Aunt Elaine Coslosky of Pringle and Aunt Pat Coslosky of Pringle.
