DOROTHY M. ALLEN

Dorothy M. Allen, of Dallas, formerly of South Bound Brook, NJ, died on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at the Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation, Dallas.

Born in Bound Brook, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Angelena DeNicola Palumbo and worked at Ethicon, NJ, prior to retiring and moving to Pennsylvania.  Dorothy enjoyed spending time with family and playing BINGO. She was also a parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy Church in South Bound Brook, NJ for many years. During those years, she was an active member of the Altar and Rosary Society and served as president for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Beverly Torok and sister, Joan Begane.

She is survived by her loving husband, Richard Allen, Sr. of Dallas; daughter, Marilyn Vrabel and her husband, Robert of South Bound Brook, NJ; son, Richard Allen, Jr. and his wife, Rebecca of Dallas; three grandchildren, Christopher, Angelena and Gabriel. She is also survived by her sister, Charlotte Marra of Bridgewater, NJ; brother, Andy Palumbo of NC; nieces and nephews.

Visitation and interment will be held at a later date.
