Dolores Williams, 92, of Plymouth, died Saturday morning, December 19, 2020, at home with family by her side.
Born in Luzerne, she was the daughter of the late Augustus and Margaret Kloran Ottaviani and was a member of Holy Family Church, Luzerne. Dolores worked for Wyoming Valley West School District until 1972, then as a waitress prior to retiring. Dolores’s favorite job at off all was taking care of her family. She loved to cook, however her favorite pastime was doting over her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, the love of her life, John Williams Sr. in 1994; daughter in law, Roberta Williams; siblings, Carol Sendrick; Agnes Battaglia and Augustus Ottaviani Jr.
Dolores is survived by her loving family, sons, John Williams Jr of Larksville; Gary (Ruth Ann) Williams of Larksville; Margaret (Richard) Ivanitch of Plymouth with whom she resided for the last twelve years; seven grandchildren, Jonelle, Johnny, Caitlin, Leighann, Gary Jr. Melissa and Richie; Eleven great grandchildren, Alan, Corey, Christopher, Johnny, Jesse, Devon, Connor, Madeline, James, Sophia and Kaci; Three great great grandchildren, Adalynn, Levi, and Brayden. Many nieces and nephews.
A special Thank You to her son in law Richard who was more like a son.
Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 10:00 am from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson Street, Larksville with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in Holy Family Church, Bennett Street, Luzerne with Reverend Jarrod Waugh officiating. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery, Pringle.
Visitation will be Tuesday, from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Social distancing and masks are required.
