Dolores C. Geffert, 88, of Larksville, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center with family by her side.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Catherine Sinkove and was employed for 34 years at the Hampton House as a certified nurses aid. Delores, known affectionately by many as “Gramma Bubbles” loved animals and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed crafts, decorating for the Holidays and going annually to Sandbridge Beach on vacation with family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her loving husband, John S. Geffert; son, Charles Geffert and brother, John Sinkove.
Dolores is survived by her children, Carol Mushalla and her husband, Michael of Hanover Township; John Geffert and his wife, Mary Beth of Larksville; Janice Evans of Swoyersville; Thomas Geffert and his companion, Arlene of Larksville; sister, Sandy Sinkove of Lake Harmony, 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held on Friday, June 18, 2021 from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson Street, Larksville with a visitation from prior. Interment followed in St. Vincent's Cemetery, Larksville.
