DAVID TWARDOWSKI

David Twardowski, 57, of Larksville, passed away suddenly at home, Saturday, September 23, 2023.

Born in Kingston, he was the son of the late David Twardowski and son to Lauren Kachmarck Elko and step son to Jack Elko of Larksville.  David was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School, Class of 1983 and Luzerne County Community College, where he earned his Associates Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management.  David was employed by Techniglas, prior to its closing; worked most recently at Home Depot and was an avid Washington Redskins Football Fan.  He enjoyed spending time with family and will be missed deeply by them and especially his 6 year old dog, Gypsy. 

In addition to his father, he was preceded by grandparents, Helen and Ben Kachmarck and John and Ann Twardowski.

He is survived by, in addition to his mother and stepfather, by brother, Jeff Twardowski of Larksville; nephew, Kyle Twardowski and his wife, Nancy and their daughters., Ezra Jo and Emelia Jade all of Washington; uncles and cousins.  He is also survived by his two best friends, John and Mike Novak, who enjoyed talking sports.

Private arrangements are under the direction of the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson St. Larksville.
