DAVID M. MORRIS

David M. Morris, 87, of Littlestown (near Gettysburg) formerly of Audubon and Larksville, died on Monday, October 30, 2023.

Born in Larksville on August 28, 1936, he was the son of the late David and Mary Krysiuk Morris and was a graduate of Larksville High School.  He served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps.  as  part of the peacekeeping forces during post Korean Conflict and was the recipient of the Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.  David worked as a software tester; enjoyed gardening, was an avid coin collector and was very generous, donating to many causes including various veteran memorials, local police funds, Epilepsy Foundation and support for education for children with special needs.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Carol Ternosky Morris who passed away 21 years ago and siblings, Bernard, Anthony and Stanley Morris.

Left to cherish his memory, is his daughter, Sandra Reaver and her husband, Mitchell; grandchildren, Julia and Grant Reaver; siblings, Lorraine Sleboda, Robert and wife Terry, Thomas and wife Susan,  Melanie Morris, sister-in-law, Barbara Morris,  nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 10:00 am Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson Street, Larksville with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St. John the Baptist Church, Nesbitt St. Larksville.  

Visitation will be held from 8:30 am until time of service at the funeral home.
