Carlene Miller

Carlene M. Simon Miller, 55, of Nanticoke, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton Campus.

Born in Kingston, she was the daughter of Abraham and Bernadine Verbetich Simon of Dallas and was a graduate of Dallas High School.  She loved spending every Sunday at her parents house and spending time with her dog Moe.  Carlene enjoyed spending time with family, camping, hiking and anything nature related.

She was preceded in death by her son William Watkins, brothers Abraham Simon and Bernie Simon.

Left to cherish her memory, in addition to her parents, are her companion of 20 years Gary Gaughan; sisters Leann Booth, Deann Parry, brother Joseph Simon, one grandson, nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 3:00 pm from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson Street, Larksville, with Deacon Florian Gyza officiating.

Friends are invited to join the family from 1:00 pm until time of service at the funeral home.
