CHARLOTTE ANN SCHULTZ

Charlotte Ann Schultz, 79, of Kingston, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021, after a courageous battle with Leukemia.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Catherine Reichart and graduated from Edwardsville High School. Charlotte worked at the United Penn Bank, Pennsylvania Gas & Water Co. and later retired from Pennsylvania American Water Company in 2004. She was an avid reader, with a book never far from her side and was a member of Larksville United Methodist Church.

Charlotte will always be remembered as a beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She leaves behind her a legacy of love, never failing to show that her family was the center of her world, her pride and joy.

Surviving are her loving husband of almost 60 years, Robert John Schultz, Kingston; daughter, Diane L. Newell and her husband Terry and their son, Trever R. Newell of Kingston; son, Paul J. Schultz and his wife, Nancy of Wilkes-Barre. She is also survived by brothers, Lee (Marjorie) Reichart of Swoyersville; Carl (Jason) Reichart of Honesdale; Theodore (Betsy) Reichart of Delaware; a niece and nephews.

The family would like to thank all of the wonderful healthcare workers that cared for her during her illness. Their compassion is truly appreciated.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
