Carl D. Koprowski, 57, of Pittston, formerly of Luzerne, passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, with family by his side.
Born in Boise, Idaho, he was the son of Judy Ann Hugg Domnowski of Kingman, AZ and the late Robert D. Koprowski and step son of Dorothy Nowak Koprowski of West Nanticoke and the late Linda K. Trondson Koprowski. Carl was a graduate of Sacred Heart Elementary School, Luzerne, Class of 1977, and West Side Technical School, Pringle, Class of 1981, where he learned the trade of Carpentry. He worked as a carpenter, remodeling many homes from top to bottom, and was very creative. Carl enjoyed shooting darts, playing pool, watching the Philadelphia Eagles Football and spending time with family and friends. He was in a Pitch League, was a director at the Lithuanian Club, Inkerman and liked to fish with his children.
In addition to his father and step mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ilaena Kay Koprowski, last month, Feb. 24, 2021.
He is survived by his children, Jessica Koprowski, Wilkes-Barre; Carl Koprowski and his fiancee Sabrina Wilkins of Wilkes-Barre; granddaughter, Ellie; siblings Jacqueline Lehman and her husband, Patrick of Hanover Township; Alice Tomshaw and her husband, George of Swoyersville; Edward Koprowski and his companion Michelle of Albuquerque, NM; Robert Koprowski and his fiancee' Rachel of Pittston; and step mother, Dorothy Koprowski of West Nanticoke. He is also survived by companion, Patty Faulkner and her son, Corey Perrins, Pittston, nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at 11:00 am from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson Street, Larksville with Reverend Richard Cirba officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Wyoming.
Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation on Monday, from 4 to 7 pm and again Tuesday morning, from 10:30 am until time of service.
