BERNADETTE WILLIAMS-CRUZ

Bernadette Williams-Cruz, 58, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 in Geisinger Wyoming Valley.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William J. Sadler and Dorothy Jean Williams and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for local Long Term Care Facilities. She was a member of the Arch of Salvation Christian Church and Salvation Christian Center.  She loved being a mom, grandma, spending time with her family and cooking for them.  

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Nelson Cruz; children, Rodney of Wilkes-Barre, Shameeda of Larksville, Raheem of Wilkes-Barre, Rasheed of Kingston, Jeffrey of Wilkes-Barre, Tyrek of Wilkes-Barre, Lucky of Wilkes-Barre; beloved grandchildren, Dasani, Rodney Jr. Isaiah, Samya, Savannah, Jaiden, Rasheed Jr, Alivia, Kaliyah, Jayce and Bailey; siblings, Cindy Washington of York, Yolanda Brown of Delaware, Dondi Sadler of Texas, Dolores Sadler of Wilkes-Barre, She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023, at 3:00 pm from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson Street, Larksville.  Friends are invited to join the family form 1:00 pm until time of service at the funeral home.
