Sandra J. Kitchen, 60, of Wilkes-Barre, died at home, Friday, October 6, 2017.

Born in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Raymond (Pop) and Margaret (Gram) Arnold Swartwood, Sr. and was a graduate of Meyers High School, Wilkes-Barre. She was employed by Metz Group in the Food service industry at Wyoming Seminary, Kingston and loved listening to the Beatles, drinking coffee and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her daughter, Kelly.

Sandra is survived by her sons, Keith Swartwood and his wife, Gretchen, Mountain Top; Keil Swartwood, Wilkes-Barre, grandchildren, Tyler, Dylan, Jace, Colby, Kallen and Lana.

Memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, October 12, 2017, at 6:30 pm at the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson St. Larksville.

Visitation will be from 5 until time of service at the funeral home
