ROSEMARY (GOLEMBESKI) MATUSICK

Rosemary Matusick, 81, of Edwardsville, died Tuesday, December 4, 2018, in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary Ann Yanushewski and was a graduate of Larksville High School. She was a member of the former St. Hedwigs Church of Edwardsville and a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Larksville. She enjoyed spending her time with family and friends and delighted in playing the lottery and cheering on her Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies.

Rosemary was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband of 41 years, Joseph A. Matusick and sister, Elizabeth Golembeski.

She is survived by her daughters, Rosemary Caruthers of Kingston; Joann Goodman and her fiancée, Joseph Lech of Larksville; grandchildren, Robert, Megan, Matthew, Amber, Rusty and Carly; brother Tony Golembeski and wife Ann-Marie of Pringle and nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 10, 2018, at 9:30 am from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson Street, Larksville, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John the Baptist Church, 126 Nesbitt Street, Larksville. Reverend Gerald Gurka will officiate.

Friends and family are invited to the visitation on Sunday from 5 to 7 pm and Monday morning, from 9:00 am until time of service.
