MAE LYONS Obituary

Mae J. Lyons, 93, of Larksville, died at home, Sunday, September 8, 2019.

Born in Larksville, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Emily Hass Cortz, and was a former member of the Larksville Ambulance. Prior to retiring, Mae worked for Eberhardt Faber, a pencil making factory in Mountain Top.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, Leo A. Lyons.

Mae is survived by her daughter, Rita Barker of Larksville; grandsons, Brian Barker of Mountain Top; two great grandchildren, Tyler and Kaelyn; sister, Shirley McDowell of Larksville, brother, Edward Stanley of Plymouth, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, September 13, 2019, at 10:00 am from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson St. Larksville.

Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation on Thursday, from 4 to 6 pm and Friday morning, from 9:30 am until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorial Shrine Cemetery, Wyoming.
