LINDA GAYLE KIDD

Linda Gayle Kidd, 68, of Lansford, died at home, Sunday, June 2, 2019.

Born in Charlottesville, VA; she was the daughter of the late John T. and Mary Ada Birckhead Swanson; Mother n Law Margret Swanson; and enjoyed spending time with family and friends; especially visiting lighthouses and spending time at beaches. She was a dedicated wife to her husband, a great mother to her children, a loving sister to her siblings, and wonderful friend to her friends. She also loved the Lord with all of her heart. 

Linda was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, William P. Kidd; siblings, Astrid Mae Brittian, Charles Swanson, Maxine Drumheller; Dick Swanson and David Swanson;
She is survived by her sons, Preston Scott Kidd of Luzerne, Pa; Anthony J. Kidd and his wife, Donna of White Haven, Pa; daughter, Karen M. Hall of Wilkes-Barre, Pa; sisters Lois Diane Hawk of Scottsville, Va; Janet K. Toney of Goochland, Va; Brother n Laws William Drumheller of Palmyra, Va; Roger Kidd of Noxen, Pa; John Toney of Goochland, Va; Sister n Laws Sheila Simonson of Wilkes Barre, Pa; Debra Chrisarick of Plymouth, Pa; Cathy Kidd of Noxen, Pa; Tammy Collins of Waynesboro, Va; Tanya Lafferty of Stuarts Draft, Va; Companion, Robert Oswald and his children, Nina Oswald and Robert Oswald Jr.  grandchildren, Stephanie and William. 

Also survived by many cousins, nieces & nephews. (Way too many to count)

Visitation will be on Friday, June 7, 2019, from 5 to 8 pm at the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson St. Larksville.   There will be a separate service in Virginia at a later date.
