HELEN FERTAL

Helen Fertal, 85, a life resident of Larksville, died Wednesday, April 4, 2018 in River Street Manor, Wilkes-Barre.

She was born in Larksville on Feb. 15, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Bonk) Fertal and was a graduate of Larksville High School.

She loved her nieces and nephews dearly and thought the world of them. She also enjoyed baking.

Helen was preceded in death by her twin sister, Margaret; sisters, Elizabeth Bendick; Anna and Mary Fertal; brothers, Francis and Thomas Fertal; Joseph Fertal Jr.; Andrew and John Bendick; nephews, Joseph Fertal III and Francis Fertal.

Surviving are nieces, Joann Seitz, Diane Fertal, Wendi Stuffick and her husband, Scott; Haylee and Zoey Seitz; nephews, Sean Lyons, David Miller, Monsignor John Bendick; as well as other numerous nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services will be held from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson St., Larksville. Private interment will be held in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Courtdale.
