FREDERICK T. SAVITSKI

Frederick T. Savitski, of Larksville, died Tuesday, May 8, 2018, in Celtic Hospice In-Patient Unit, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Larksville, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Pascoe Savitski and was a graduate of Larksville High School. Fred worked for Doty Construction as a pipe fitter, was a dedicated Eagles Fan and enjoyed hunting, gardening and fishing.

He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by sister, Doris Dady and brothers, Walter Savitski and Leonard Savitski.

Fred is survived by his loving companion of 32 years, Pam Ivanitch, Larksville; step daughter, Christina “Shawn” Fenner; grandchildren, Haley, Isabella, Harper, Alissa, Shawn Jr.; brothers, Joseph Savitski, FL; Thomas Savitski, Edwardsville; sisters, Lillian Hochreither, Mountain Top; Mary Bonzinski, Lancaster; Ruth Nareski, Williamsport, MD; many nieces and nephews.

Blessing service will be conducted on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at 10:00 am at the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson St. Larksville, with Reverend Gerald Gurka, of St. John the Baptist Church, Larksville, officiating.

Friends may visit on Friday, May 11, 2018, from 5 to 7 pm or Saturday morning, from 9:30 am until time of service.
