Charles “Chuck G. James, of Dallas Township, died at home, Saturday, July 29, 2017.
Born in Kingston, he was the son of the late Gordon and Helen Fisher James and was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Kingston. He served his country in the United States Air Force during the VietNam War and was employed by Lispi Chevrolet and later for Bonner Chevrolet prior to retiring. He was a member and choir member of Good Shepherd Polish National Catholic Church, Plymouth, was an active member with the Dallas American Legion, Post 672 and was a private pilot enjoying many years of local aviation.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his brother William James.
Chuck is survived by his siblings, Frank James and his wife, Arlene, Old Bridge, NJ; Helen Polifka and her husband, John, Stevensville; Joe James and his wife, Janie, Harveys Lake; sister in law, Kathy James, Exeter; nieces, nephews and godchildren, Jodie Patton and Charleen Zablotney.
Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 9:30 am from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson Street, Larksville with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Good Shepherd Polish National Catholic Church, Plymouth with Reverend Lucian Urbanik officiating.
Entombment will be in St. Marys Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 7 pm on Friday, August 4, 2017.
