Ann E. Michak, of West Wyoming, died Friday afternoon September 7, 2018, in Highland Manor, Exeter.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Anna Callahan Kenney and was a graduate of GAR High School. Ann was a member of St. Monica’s Church, West Wyoming, foster grandparents and TOPS. Prior to retirement, she was employed as a secretary for United Penn Bank. Ann enjoyed cooking, baking, shopping and an occasional trip to Atlantic City.
In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph A. McLarney and brother, James Kenney.
She is survived by her husband, Sam; children, Patricia McLarney Harvilla and her husband, Alan, Swoyersville; Linda Michak Ahrensfield and her husband, Joseph, Kulpmont; Joseph (Jay) McLarney, West Wyoming; Donna McLarney Pierantoni and her husband, Honorable Fred Pierantoni; Dupont; Maureen McLarney Bilbow and her husband, Bob; West Wyoming; seven grandchildren, Kelli, Casey, Kaitlyn, Fred, Matthew, Morgan and MacKenzie; one great grandchild, Landon; sister, Marilyn C. Goeckel, Eynon; nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be conducted on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at 8:45 am from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson St. Larksville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in St. Monica’s Church, 8th Street, West Wyoming. Interment will be in St. Mary of the Maternity Cemetery, Stites St. West Wyoming.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 pm on Monday, September 10, 2018 and from 8:30 am until time of service at the funeral home.
