MICHAEL MURGALLIS

Michael John Murgallis, 59, of Kingston, Pa., passed away on January 24, 2024. He was born on November 27, 1964, to Janet Wallace Murgallis and the late Frank R. Murgallis Jr. 

Michael graduated from Wyoming Valley West High School and later went on to Temple University and served in the U.S. Air Force. He was self-employed as a dealer in sports memorabilia and collectibles. He was a diehard Rams fan, as well as the Boston Red Sox and Philadelphia Flyers.

Michael was a talented artist and an avid conversationalist. He found joy in expressing himself through his artwork and engaging in meaningful conversations with others. His warm and friendly nature made him a cherished friend to many.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Gardjulis, in 2005.

Michael is survived by his beloved mother, Janet, and his children, Jayme and Breanne. He also leaves behind his aunt, Nancy Doroskewicz; brother Terrence Murgallis Sr. and wife, Meg; and brother Mark Murgallis. He will be deeply missed by his nieces and nephew; Korrianne, Brittany, and Terrence II; great-nieces and great-nephew; Briana, Makayla, and Enzo; along with cousins, friends, and all who knew him.

The memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson Street, Larksville.

Friends are invited to join the family from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
