Arthur Kingston, 78, of Courtdale passed away at home on Monday, February 19, 2024 after a short battle with cancer. He was born in Kingston on September 3, 1945 to Arthur and Margaret (Walters) Kingston, lifelong residents of Courtdale, PA.
Arthur married Mary (Miles) and they celebrated their 54 wedding Anniversary this past August. Arthur and Mary had one child, Tammy. While Tammy loved her dad, she did not share his love for hunting although Tammy married the son Arthur always wanted, Paul Gardner, whom he spent much time with. Arthur was the proud poppy to Carlie Gardner and her husband Michael Dileo and Ariana Gardner. Arthur loved his grandchildren very much. Another young lady Willow Dileo joined the family this past year and he loved to spend time with her. With Willow, Arthur most of all loved comments and quips she would say out of the blue. When Arthur was young he spent most of his time riding and showing horses.
Arthur was an avid hunter and self taught taxidermist. He belonged to the Valley Rod and Gun Club since he was 18. Arthur had too many friends to count but he cared for each one very much. Arthur also loved his dog Buddy and previous dogs that have passed on Barney, Rusty, Sasha, Cloe and Princess. Arthur worked for Pulverman under original ownership. He also worked for HCSC laundry until he retired.
Arthur was preceded in Death by his parents and his beloved brother Charles Kingston who passed away at the age of 15.
