Sam Hamersley  passed away suddenly on May 1, 2017 at the age of 69. He was reunited into the arms of his wife the former Sharon Deschak and his beloved daughter Sheri.

He grew up in Hunlocks Creek and then resided in Larksville to raise his 5 children. He then followed his heart to Florida to be close to the ocean and the beach. He loved the hot temperatures.

Sam was a Army veteran, who enjoyed hunting and fishing and teaching his children to have no fear. He loved to work and was a self employed contractor in various businesses and was definitely The Sam of all trades. He enjoyed his Sunday Nascar and watching the LA Rams. His love to gamble took him on various adventures to many casinos around the world. He enjoyed dancing to the oldies and telling his life stories and tales, he had many.

Sam is survived by his sons Glen, Kingston, Dale and his wife Windee, Kingston, daughters Cindy Fey and husband Dale, Nuangola and Holly Gallagher, Avoca.  His grandchildren Robert, Piccarreta, Sabrina, Skyla, Sopie, Isabel, Croix  and Jayda Gallagher. He was blessed with one great grandchild Iliythia Piccarreta . Sam was the baby of 13 siblings and 4 survived him Gilbert, Bernadine, Lois and Mary.

As per his request there will be no calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held  Saturday 3 pm @ Wheel's Bar & Grill 5222 Nuangola Rd, Mountaintop Pa 18707.
