LAWRENCE F. ROBERTS

Lawrence F. Roberts, 78, Edwardsville, died Friday morning, February 24, 2017, in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Robert Roberts Sr. and Mary Bevan Roberts and was employed as a caregiver in Adult Group Homes. He was a member of the Salvation Army and loved the Philadelphia Eagles Football Team.

He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by twin brother, Leonard Roberts, brother, Robert Roberts Jr. and sister Marguerite Whitesell.

Lawrence is survived by his wife, Judy Davis Roberts; children, Chantell Roberts, Kingston; Heather Roberts, Kingston; Brian Roberts, Wilkes-Barre and Robyn Roberts, West Hazleton; 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted by the Salvation Army, Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at 6:30 pm at the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson Street, Larksville.

Friends and family are invited from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home.
