Joseph J. Yosh, of Larksville, died December 20, 2017, in Birchwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Nanticoke.
Born in Kingston, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Pollick Yosh, served in the Army Reserves and was an auto mechanic for the Department of the Army.
Joe was the code enforcement officer for Larksville, served on Larksville Council and was a State Constable. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded by his parents, siblings, Francis Yosh and Mary Nardone and his companion, Jeanette Ivanitch.
He is survived by his son Daniel Ivanitch, Larksville; step sons, John Ivanitch, Larksville; Richard (Margaret) Ivanitch, Plymouth; step daughters, Pamela Ivanitch and her companion, Frederick Savitski, Larksville; Susan Ivanitch and her companion, Frank Kocher, Larksville; 4 grandchildren Christina, Holly, Jonathan, and Richard. 7 great-grandchildren Haley, Isabella, Harper, Alissa, Shawn, Autumn, and Sophia. Sisters, Betty Andrasko, Nanticoke; Barbara Chiarucci, Dallas; brother, Edward Yosh, Kingston; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Blessing service will be at 6:00 pm on Friday from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson St. Larksville.
Friends may visit Friday from 4 to 6 pm.
