Joseph J. Campbell, 49, of Benton, died Saturday, October 8, 2016 in Celtic Hospice In-Patient Unit, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of Joseph J. Campbell of Shavertown and the late Lucille Monforte Campbell. He was a graduate of Dallas High School and worked as a truck driver in the construction industry.

Joe is survived by his loving father, Joseph; step mother, Janet Campbell, Shavertown; sisters, Kathleen Shimp, Woodward; Colleen Campbell, Pittston; his fiancee Tonia Ecker, Benton; step sisters, Lynn Milazzo and Donna Carver, both of Plymouth, niece and nephews.

Funeral service and interment was held Friday, October 14, 2016, at 11:00 am in Mount Olivet Chapel, Carverton, with Rev. Bob Sickler from St. John the Baptist Church, Larksville, officiating.
