Janet Kon, 77, of Dallas, formerly of Larksville, died late Saturday, May27, 2017 in the Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dallas, with family by her side.

Born in Plains, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Sabina Trykosky Lewandoski and was a graduate of Plains High School. Janet was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, Larksville; Wilkes University Polish Room; Kosciuszko Foundation; Polish Womens Alliance and other civic and religious organizations.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, Raphael Kon.

Janet is survived by her loving sons, Michael Kon and his wife, Donna; Dallas; Dr. Raphael Kon, Noxen; Daniel Kon and his wife, Theresa, Lincroft, NJ; Jonathan Kon and his wife, Sue, Richland, WA; 10 grandchildren, Chelsea, Joshua, Benjamin, Emilia, Nick, Scarlett, Rachael, Christopher, Raphael and Dominic and  brother Thomas Lewandoski, Hershey.

Funeral for Janet will be at 10:30 am, Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson St Larksville with a Mass of Christian burial at 11 AM in Saint John the Baptist Church, 126 Nesbitt St, Larksville. Interment will follow at the  parish cemetery 399 Lake Street, Dallas.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30 AM until time of service.
