Edith M. Gavrish, of Plymouth, died Friday, September 1, 2017 in Celtic Hospice In Patient Unit, Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Elizabeth LaFrance Little and worked as a seamstress in the garment industry and later at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.  She worked at the Senior Citizens Center at Dan Flood Apartments in Plymouth, loved her nieces and nephews, playing bingo at the center and enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino.

Edith was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by infant brother, William Little and sisters, Janet Sheply and Bonnie Turak.

She is survived by her siblings, Betty Turak, Larksville; Warren “Buzz” Little, Harveys Lake; Larry Little, Luzerne; Malvin Little, Larksville; Sandy Gorney, Wilkes-Barre; Ed Little, Harveys Lake and numerous nieces and nephews.

A family private graveside service will be held at Memorial Shrine Cemetery, Centermoreland
