Christopher R. Emmett, 23, of Larksville, died suddenly at home, Tuesday, August 23, 2016.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of Christopher and Patricia Koprowski Emmett, of Larksville and was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School, Plymouth. Chris enjoyed hunting, fishing, skateboarding and automotive work. He was a former member of St. John the Baptist Church, volunteered at St. Vincents DePaul Kitchen and was employed by Gk Installation Inc. as a labor.

Chris was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Barbara Koprowski and maternal grandfather, Richard Emmett.

He is survived, in addition to his parents, by grandfather, Adam Koprowski, Swoyersville; paternal grandparent, Maureen Boney Emmett, Larksville; sister, Jodie Emmett, nephew Abel Hadavance, both Larksville; aunts, uncle, cousins, best friend Cody, dog, Cyrus and cats, Tim, Naynay and Sunny.

Blessing service will be Friday, August 26, 2016, at 6:30 pm at the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson Street, Larksville, with Reverend Jerry Gurka officiating.

Visitation will be held 4 to 6:30 pm at the funeral home.
