CARL JUNE

Carl J. June, Sr., 69, of Nanticoke, died Thursday, June 30, 2016, in Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Kingston, he was the son of the late Samuel A. and Mary (Molly) Sheridan June, and was a graduate of Larksville High School, Class of 1966. Carl was a bus driver retiring from LCTA after 20 years of service, enjoyed golfing and bowling and was an avid Eagles and Phillies Fan.

He is survived by his sons, Carl June Jr and his wife, Brenda, Hanover Township; Joseph June, Plymouth; 2 grandchildren, Sam and Sarah June; sister, Janis Sudal, Pittston Twp.; brother, Samuel A. June, Etters; companion, Christine Besancon; mother of his children, Geraldine June, nieces and nephews.

Blessing service will be held Friday, July 8, 2016, at 5:00 pm at the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson Street, Larksville, with Reverend Jerry Gurka officiating.

Friends may call from 3:00 pm until time of service.
